Where do I even begin to talk about this elopement day?! About a year ago Caitlyn and Griffin booked me for their San Francisco wedding but due to Covid they had to reschedule their big wedding to next summer. We were planning on just getting to celebrate next June when Caitlyn texted me and said what the heck we want to get married before the year is over! I was so excited to plan their elopement with them because they just wanted to do a simple ceremony and run around San Francisco the rest of the day… and that is exactly what we did. I met up with them at their home in San Francisco before venturing out to Lovers Lane for their first look and intimate ceremony. They did their first look( complete with Caitlyn Icing Griffin hahaha!) and they had their best friend officiate their ceremony. After their “I do’s” we drove across the Golden gate bridge to take some epic photos in the Marin Headlands which was totally overcome with fog. We then ended their elopement day at Kirby Cove for a smoke bomb fest, pizza picnic and a dip in the water. Caitlyn and Griffin’s San Francisco elopement is a day I’ll never forget because of how free spirit it was and how much fun these two had finally getting married after 9 years together!
If you’re looking for some San Francisco elopement inspiration definitely take a page out of their book! I can’t wait to celebrate again with them next summer woohoo!!
