If I could describe this Lake Tahoe elopement in two words, I would say adventurous and intimate. This perfectly matched this beautiful couple. Harmony and Calvin are laid-back and adventurous people who spend a lot of their free time hiking. They even got engaged in Yosemite National Park! They were inspired by Lake Tahoe for their elopement because it’s a beautiful place that they used to visit all the time. Even though elopements have become a lot more popular post-2020, Harmony and Calvin never wanted to go the big wedding route in the first place. So a Lake Tahoe elopement was the perfect setting for their special day. I can’t wait to share these STUNNING, wintery, elopement photos with you!
One of my favorite moments of this elopement was snowshoeing to the top of North Tahoe Rim Trail and then watching Harmony and Calvin snowshoe back down in their wedding attire. It’s something I will never forget! The combination of the snowy mountains and the evergreen trees was the perfect backdrop to their stunning outfits! Also, their little picnic on the lakeshore – where they cut their little cake and drank coffee – was another special moment during this intimate celebration.
I helped Harmony and Calvin create a timeline for their Lake Tahoe elopement. It was important to me to help them feel like they could just relax and be together throughout the day. I wanted them to be certain that the details were being taken care of. I also scouted out the locations for their photos. This was amazing because all of the different locations were perfect for this elopement. Overall, I had SO much fun being a part of Harmony and Calvin’s special day. I wish them all the best together!
