When Jayme and Diego hired me for their intimate wedding this year , they didn’t have a location picked out. They gave me the honor of choosing some options for them to consider. In the end they decided on an October mountain wedding at Diablo Lake. We had planned to meet up the day before the wedding to location scout for the perfect photo and ceremony spots but when the day came, we were shocked to be greeted by a snow storm in the North Cascade Mountains. It was so gorgeous and magical getting to roam around the lake with the snow falling all around us. We chose a few spots with some back up locations just in case the snow decided to come back on the wedding day. The day of the wedding it was absolutely perfect! It was freezing but the scenery made you forget how cold it was. Jayme and Diego’s wedding can be described as an intimate and intentional day. These two only invited their closest family members for their Diablo Lake wedding. Their small wedding at Diablo lake was one I’ll never forget because of how incredibly happy these two were all day. About 98% of the images from their day is them laughing uncontrollably. You can’t help but feel so much joy around these two. Photographing their Diablo lake wedding was truly incredible and I’ll hold onto the memories forever. Congrats to these two!
