Santa Cruz Engagement Photos

Melody and kyle’s Santa Cruz engagement session was a gorgeous afternoon that almost didn’t happen. Melody and Kyle had originally planned a Muir woods engagement session with me right before Covid hit. Since Muir woods had closed to visitors we decided to wait it out. When their reschedule date was coming up and Muir woods was still closed we went on the hunt for a new location all together. Melody had mentioned really wanting the woodsy vibe but also with a little bit of beach action as well. Thinking about these two I could only think of how perfect Santa cruz engagement photos would be for them! Santa Cruz is one of my favorite places in Northern California because of the easy going vibe and also how the grand redwoods meet the oceanside. I headed up to Santa Cruz a little early for their engagement session and scouted out the perfect woodsy redwood area and then headed out to find an amazing beach for us to end with some sunset photos. We started off in the woods and then made our way to the ocean at the end of their session. Although the sun decide to hide away for the rest of the evening , I’m obsessed with the moody vibe it set with their all black outfits. I’m so happy these two decided to adventure around Santa Cruz for their Santa Cruz engagement photos!
