Shady Canyon Golf Club wedding -Tatum + Robin

When Tatum first reached out to me to photograph hers and Robin’s wedding, I knew their wedding day was going to be amazing + detail oriented. By the time we had shot their engagement session ( a year ago!) Tatum and Robin had pretty much planned their entire wedding. I was so excited to see their wedding come together and it truly was amazing!

Robin got ready at their house in Newport Beach while Tatum and her bridesmaids got ready at Pelican Hill resort up the street from the chapel. Tatum and Robin kept it traditional with not doing a first look but instead Tatum did a first look with her dad which was very special and emotional. We finished up their getting ready photos before heading down to Mariners Chapel. Mariners chapel isn’t your typical church wedding venue. Mariners chapel is a small charming chapel with high ceilings with wood beams. I loved how they decided to have their ceremony here. They had a little ceremony surrounded by their closet family and friends. Seeing them walk back down the isle as husband and wife was truly so beautiful!

After the ceremony we headed to Shady Canyon for their reception. We did some fun bridal party photos and family photos before checking out the reception area and woooooah it was incredible!The weather had called for rain on their wedding day so they had rented a huge tent to cover their outdoor reception which we all agreed to have added so much to the presentation of the space. Their tables were adorned with the prettiest flowers by Modern Bouquet and the table settings were perfection. Chandeliers and string lights hung from the tent ceiling creating a magical ambiance. Their illuminated LOVE sign added so much fun for photo opportunities. I could go on and on about the details buuuut you can just check them out and drool over them below.

Tatum and Robin had a sweet first dance and then listened to their parents + friends give heartwarming speeches to start off their reception. They then started the party with an open dance floor with their guests. Everyone danced their hearts out! To end the night perfectly, Tatum surprised her guests with changing into her moms wedding dress (which was GORGEOUS to!). I loved everything about Tatum and Robin’s wedding! Every guest was so sweet and you could see how happy they both were throughout the day! It was a wedding I never wanted to end!
