Joshua Tree engagement photos

Shelby and Julian are planning a Palm Springs wedding for later this year so to keep with their desert vibe they flew down from Sacramento for some gorgeous Joshua tree engagement photos. I was so pumped to meet them and explore the desert with them. Going into the session I had a location plan but when we were driving through the park I decided to pull off on the side of the road and roam through the Joshua trees a bit . I’m so glad did because we found the most perfect patch of Joshua trees to shoot at as the sun set behind the hills. To end their Joshua tree engagement session we climbed up on some rocks that overlooked the desert( See last photos) and woo wee are they some of my favorites from Joshua tree! Thanks to these two for trusting me and all my last minute plans that always somehow turn out way better then the original plan.
